Do you intend to put some porn contents? then beware.. these hosts would shut down their services once they detect you. read the AUP before signing up so that you can avoid a suspension
If you don't need their support, I hear their network is good enough. Most complains come from support part. Do you have any budget level in mind?
Cons... all cons: 1and1 is hideous to cancel from, they will even charge you a fee JUST for cancelling and then deny they did anything wrong until you tell them that you will report them to the FTC. 1and1 has been stealing domains, not what should be allowed IMO I think there have been thousands affected with that. 1and1's advertising may look good, but don't be fooled, they're NOT number 1 they're not even close. 1and1's support is a joke, you get through they hang up. No I did not hate them because of everything, I just hated them cause I couldn't get my domains back.
1and1 has been around for a long time but there are better well established hosts that are more reliable and with better support.
Thanks for the help. We are looking at spending anywhere from 80 to 180 as a starting point for this site. Pretty much, we want the best bang for the buck. Let me know what you guys have in mind, and can anyone let me know of a good off-shore hosting company that is good. So many tell me to get an off-shore to be safe, and yes, we will be putting content on our site.

If your company operates in the US you need to comply with 2257 and obscenity and copyright laws whether you're hosting is in the US or offshore. It might take them longer to track you down but they can and will. As long as you are operating legally you should have nothing to worry about. I recommend speaking to an attorney familiar with the adult industry if you haven't already. xbiz and ynot have a lot of useful information and resources on this subject.
A good Softlayer server would be perfect for your needs. They have good support. Offshore is not necessary if you're running a legitimate adult site.
HostGator, BlueHost, and 1and1 are the biggest dedicated hosts for pron. I've never used BlueHost, but I've used HostGator and 1and1 and the do a decent job. Alternatively, if you have your own box you could just get your own rackspace and do it, only costs about $100/month for a slot on a major datacenter.
http://www.veracitek.com/hosting is great. Great prices, monthly automatic paypal payments, and super fast hosting. Just watch how fast their site loads. Have used them for 5 years now hosting high traffic ad sites.
