What would you put in your "toolbox" (starting from scratch)

I'm looking to start a business on the web in a few years. I don't really know what I'll be doing other than trying to make money. I'm thinking that I'd like to collect a toolkit now while I go to college knowing it will be some time before I try to start some kind of an online business. What tools would you recommend I get in my "toolbox" of tools & utilities assuming I have nothing. (Please exclude skills and experience.) For example a domain name, a website (about me/topic x/anything), specific software, free e-mail accounts, etc. are all tools in some form.

What do you expect would be worth collecting before I know what I'll be doing?

First You must figure out what online business your going to start. You have to know what you want to do and accomplish before you start.

So...I don't know what you need because I don't know what your doing.

servers, design, content. That's all you need. Inside all those three things, there are TONS of other things. We can talk over this through MSN if you want my opinion :)

I'll say a Domain Name, Good Host (Reliability and Efficiency Counts), a Web Site or Web Presence for that Business or whatever, and Finally Targetting Audience.

Ok, what should I do now (& over the next few years) so that I'm familiar with the new tools that'll be around then?
