What would you pay for links?

There have been alot of postings lately in this forum for link building services (from myself included).

I've gone through three different people offering this service so far, only one of which has lived up to my expectations, but cannot continue on my projects for other reasons.

So I'm looking to hire my own in-house full time link development team and offer their services at fair rates, which brings up my question - what is a fair rate for link building?

How much would you pay for:
-One-way permanent links PR2+ from relevant websites
-Recriprocal links from PR2+ relevant websites

What would you consider a fair rate?

Right now I'm looking at something like $8-12 for one-ways, and $4-$8 for recriprocals. Do those rates sound fair to you?

Note: If I do carry forward with this and hire a team, I will of course offer a discount to DP members ;)

I had a few interesting PM's from this thread and this morning I hired a link developer to do some trial runs.

If anybody is interested in a trail run of 10-20 links over the next week or so, please let me know via PM asap. We're going to be charging a rate of $10USD per one-way PR2+ relevant link.

The actual building of links won't be starting until the end of this week because I'm spending the next two days training my link builder properly.

Again, this is only trial run links right now. Once we've worked out a good system we'll officially launch this service.

    Cheers :)
