ecommerce website starts from $50 i think - very simple store can be made for $50 - since lot depends on the kind of complexity and work needed.

    Hope this helps...

I would pay aprox $2000 for a decent E-commerce site, a site that will function and be built on a platform that allows me to fully manage my online business.

To design one, or to purchase one that already has revenues, etc.?

To design, it depends. You can set one up on volusion.com or other and see pricing there.

But to buy an active one with revenue, I would pay 1.5x revenue if it's growing in sales month to month.

    Hi! :)

    Yea I mean design.

I was thinking about designing websites. Do you have any tips where to advertise the services?

Is a 1-2 turnaround reasnable time?

    Thanks!

An ecommerce site? 1-2 days?! Let me tell you something. Ecommerce sites are my specialty. You are lucky if you get one out of me for less than $30K. You are luckier if you get it in six months! Tell me when you have $50K to $100K and we'll talk.

Custom ecommerce sites for my customers start in that range and they're glad to pay it. I'm cheap.

That's the real world... In the DP world, you could get in 1 or 2 days for $50 - $100... It's called a template with new "header" installed on Joomla with Virtuemart... lol

Once again, you get what you pay for! D'oh!

    Cheers!~

Earlier it was specific to "E-commerece" website.

E-commerce website or any? Not sure what you need? Anyways, post in the BST (Buy, Sell, Trade) section, you may get a deal you are after.
E-commerece website? Big "NO" but as "WorkingSmart" said you might get in the DP world :D
Just designing one page layout, Maybe.

Quality price can get you (both) quality or sub-standard work but Cheap price would definately get you sub-standard work.

I had a custom layout designed on 99designs.com for $500 then spent another $300 on Rentacoder getting it built. Under $1000 is quite easy.
