I have a landing page dedicated to getting leads. The page details if the person would qualify (veteran benefits) and if so to fill out the form to the right for more information. Lately, things have slowed.... My question is: Should I offer some e-book "Consumers guide to...." for free and just capture there information that way? Our goal is to contact these people (people that would qualify) and to take them towards the next step. Any insight? Thanks in advance and happy holidays!
I looked at your site and it's actually very professional looking and I wouldn't change anything! My suggestion would be to ramp up your advertising in certain cities. I live in Fayetteville NC with has 2 military complexes in it and I always get a good response from them on craigslist. Find out what cities have a military base in it and advertise more there. Would you maybe add an e-book to the offer to increase sign ups? We would ask for their phone numbers and follow-up later. Ebook?
Ive had a look at the site, and if you want my opinion I would make the text larger and the page longer. You need to get their attention with some larger words. It needs to be laid out more like a list IMO. A video presentation would be a good idea too. Forget the Ebook, its not relevant.
As a Veteran I would agree with Kelouba, make the site bigger wider and text larger, The veteran who need your help are not that into the internet and would have trouble reading the page due to poor eye site, also it would IMHO be the children of the veteran who would be looking for this help look for some more keywords about helping veterans and veterans help and or servcies find web pages that offer that kind of help and do a link exchange. I will do some more work on this idea when I get home, and can search with my keyword tools and get back to you, but on first look this is a good site, just need to get the right people to the site, I am going to look at nursing homes and see what they do to get online business.
