What would you NOT advertise through your blog/website

Hey everybody, long time reader, first time poster.

Just wanted to know what you would/would not advertise on your blog or website. Reason being is that I am having a bit of a dilemma.

I have been received an email for somebody who wants to advertise on my blog. The site is a gambling site, and I am mulling it over whether I should or not.

Ethically myself I don't have a problem with gambling, and a lot of my readers don't, I'm just wondering if Google would penalise me for linking to said site? Or would attracting future sponsors be difficult with such a link on my site?

    Any advice?

Yeah, I wouldn't advertise porn myself either. I'm thinking more for future advertising, whether people would be put off with advertising on my site because I link to gamling sites. I don't know.

Keep it relevant, that's what matters most. If the advertiser's website meets your quality standards you should be fine.

I reserve the right to refuse content that it's not quality in my opinion or topics I don't think are ok for my audience: porn, medication, warez etc. If you feel like you're not comfortable with this, then refuse ;)

I have a niche website on dog agility and dogs in general, therefore anything that goes against the welfare of dogs wouldn't get space on my site. In particular I wouldn't want to be associated with sites that sell things like electric shock collars or promote harsh training methods. The site also has to be safe for children so gambling and porn are out of the question.
