If you got an email from a customer stating that they want their listing moved from 1 category to another. Keeping in mind with an attitude

    Just curious.

Not sure I fully understand your point, but always try and keep the client/customer service to the highest standards that you can offer, and would expect if you were asking for a service from a provider yourself

It is to be expected that all enquiries will not be just as you would prefer but try to do what is best for the client so long as at all times the service you offer maintains the integrity of your Directory:)

    imho

You are looking for 10's of thousands of potential clients they all will be different, but if they have submitted a site, they might have another 500 sites to submit later and they are justing testing to see your re-action

You don't have a business in any verticle market without Customers:)

    Think and re-act smart

unless you're Yahoo!, your best bet is to move it per their request...

Yeah, no reason not to... especially if it's paid (you want them to buy more).

If you disagree with the submitter, which is what I gather from your initial post, I'd take a slightly different approach.

I'd explain politely why you thought the category you placed their site in was the correct one and finish off by asking for the reason why they think their site should be moved to a different category...

Who knows? They may well have thought of something you haven't. You can evaluate what to do once they respond to your email.
