It's the age old question, but i'm interested what everyone here would do with a million pounds/dollars.

Personally I would invest it into a high interest back account and live off the interest. 10% account, probably 100,000/year. Good enough for me!

Other than that, i've always wanted a nice boat, a merc slk and a decent house to live in. I would love to have my own business, something to do with online gambling/casinos.

    What would you do?

I will put the whole 3/4 million to stocks. Then slowly multiply them. Other than that i would buy things what I need. :)

I'd invest it in my own businesses. A million is a very nice amount but for me at least no where near enough to live the rest of my life off.

Depends where you are, the cost of living and what your ambitions are. Where I am what I would call a nice houses start from 3/4 of a million, I live in an okay house and that cost a 1/4. A million for me would be a nice start, times it by 10 and I may consider cutting my hours down a bit :D

Put 500,000 in the bank and the rest I would spend on a really good programmer to make the site of my dreams.

I could definitely use a melon now. Nothing beats a nice cool melon in the hot summer.

I'd put some in the bank for security, give some away to charity (because at the end of the day - you do not need a million pounds as much as others) and I'd probably use the rest to travel all around the world.
