A friend of mine is coming into some money next week and asked me a good question that I had to think long and hard about: "Terry, Ive been left by a relation a large sum of money, and I want to start an Internet Marketing business. I will put up to $2000 aside for this, so where should I start?" Well, he has been successful with bum marketing, squidoo and blogger, but it only brings in about $500 a year! So, how would you spend the $2000 wisely?
I would probably start an online shop and a good idea is to spend enough time and money on advertising and development. I just started today a new adwords campaign and the results are apparently good.
$500 per year, yikes! Is your friend smart? $2000 is enough to get going with AdWords if he's good enough to tweak his ads down to a profit. Of course I'd always recommend my own program as well.
Buy equipment to run my online business. Reinvest profits back into my business. Pay others to do the annoying work!
I probably use that kind of amount wisely by not spending too much because it's not necessary for online marketer beginners to spend a lot of money, the important is you should always be practical. ------------------------------------ htt://dcglobal.us/ourstaff-autocad.htm
He wants to start an internet marketing company - as in helping others market their business online? How is he making money currently - meaning, is he selling things, or just getting adsense money? I personally would spend that money developing content for his site
Well, I would recommend him to spend on Internet Marketers must have tools such as a site, an autoresponder (mailing list), a set of RR or MRR ebooks to be given away to build his list. Spend the money on building a good site, design(ebook cover or sales page) link building and content creation (copywriting).
Spend some money on books, learning how to pre-sell, or write your own product. Then he should learn how to drive quality traffic (and lots of it). PPC is so overrated... Spend some money on uber important thing like an autoresponder (I suggest Aweber) and hosting that allows unlimited subdomains. Simply put, I would spend the money on LEARNING! And by the way, if he's only been generating $500 a YEAR from Bum Marketing... He's not been successful with it. Ask Supper, he's been successful with it, if anyone has.
Start a membership site and spend the rest of the money on promoting it. Membership sites are always profitbale as long as you have good material that is hard to find.
Just curious what did your friend end up doing? Did he create a new site or use the cash to keep updating what he had already going? Any progress report?
I have a similar dilemma. I want to invest about $1,500. I intend to spend half on existing profitable projects to help them make even more money. But I also want to invest into brand new projects too.
Hello rolf, I would launch a new marketing software, find an idea then go on rentacoder.com or guru.com post your project and try finding a cheap coder to help you , then sell that software
