Hi guys, i've recently came into a bit of extra cash and i have decided im going to put a bit of it into my websites.. I've given myself a budget of $200 to help promote and build up my website, and get it know... Now.. the problem is, i've got no idea how to do this.. My website is in my Sig, its about mobile phones and similar stuff.. I've had several ideas on what to do with my $200.. Buy a custom made template/logo set for site. Pay for some Blog reviews Build up a strong Backlink list. Get listed on a huge amount of Directorys Pay for some bulk quality content to be written on site Pay for SEO Services What would YOU do with $200? Thanks, Rich
If i were you I would purchase a template, most of the other stuff can sort of be done for free to some extent.
If you're specifically asking what I would do in your situation, I'd buy one of our marketing analysis reports. Then I'd have the professional information and instructions to implement your list of ideas for free/cheap, plus information and advice on many more factors to improve your business and marketing for more sales. As well as instructions on how to implement and properly utilise effective marketing methods specifically for your business and it's circumstances. That might (and does) sound like a very cheesy plug for what we offer but to genuinly answer your question, that is what I would do.
I'm not realy selling anything, its just about reviews of mobile phones and different services. Anymore ideas?
Invest it into a rrsp lol just kidding. I would buy some backlinks, SEO service and maybe some directory listing. I'd take the rest and advertise my site with it. just me though I dont know much about it all either. Good luck!
That was my first idea, but i want to try get some branding for my site so i might split it about and share the $200... 60% Template 20% Linking 20% Advertising
You'll find that many marketing solutions for business relate very well to websites too. Online marketing is based around the concept of driving targeted traffic to your website, then the website and it's sales message converts the visitor into a client/sale. So for certain marketing methods the situation is near identical.
very funny...jejejej... anyway.. if i were you, i would expend 50% on advertising. it will bring you more money on the long. i would buy a cheap template, with 25%.. directories sucks... when you have done making your plan, i can advertise you on my pagerank4 mobile blog (elkauction.com), for 15$ if i write a honest review with 4 links to your site, or for 8$ if you write it....pm me if you are interested.
Drop a big chunk of it into your template and logo, then with the rest spread it over bringing traffic to your site, backlinks, adwords etc. John
* Buy a custom made template/logo set for site. Yes, this would actually be a smart investment. Always very good idea of gaining your visitors by first appearance. * Pay for some Blog reviews Also useful, but usually only used to build backlinks unless you get reviews on high traffic blog. For now you should focus on building traffic, the backlinks come with it naturally. * Build up a strong Backlink list. You shouldn't be aiming towards building links at the moment, aim at gaining traffic. * Get listed on a huge amount of Directories Directory submissions are totally useless. Don't even waste your time. * Pay for some bulk quality content to be written on site Good idea since your site will be filled with more unique quality text, which will help in ranking in SE. * Pay for SEO Services $200 is to little for a good SEO.
