I don't understand what you mean.

I think I will have pr6 for one site in the next PR update. Think that I feel happy.

    What will I do?

Not much - continue on as I have been doing. Trying to improve on increasing pageviews through SEO and good coding habits.

Explain your future feelings when you realize that this is a strangely worded question.

I will definitely write a blog post about it on my blog.

Of course, any positive move it is a good reason to be happy.

I'm not ready for the next PR update. Haven't had a lot of time to do proficient link building. O well, will just have to wait for the next~

If your website is old enough, you dont need to worry about backlinks!

What? Where do you think Microsoft would rank if it didn't have a billion backlinks?

You are talking about giants. They dont need any rank nor backlinks! their name is a Rank itself.

I don't belive that is the case. So, you are telling me that Google automatically ranks someone at the top because of their name? So, if Microsoft had a single page website and three back links they would still smash the competitors like Apple, Dell, and so on?

Well its a common sense the more traffic you got, the more backlinks you get. Secondly, I can refer you some websites which are quite old but only have 2-3 baclinks and already got pr ! So how can you justify that? a mistake by google?)

PR is different from good results in the SERPS's.

I have a PR2 site that has on average 1-5 visits a day. I haven't spent anytime on normal SEO techniques to improve SERP position.

Even though I am moving up in PR and not very visible in the SERP's, I wouldn't call that good would you?
