What would you do to make my site better?

Looking for ideas on how to make my site better. Slowly but surely i'm getting more and more traffic. Please critique my site!

 

Looks terrific... I really like the clean look and I browsed some of the content and it definitely seems to be informative/valuable. Not sure what your traffic numbers are, but how about adding a forum?

One graphic change I would recommend: The white lettering on the baby blue background on the header navigation is a bit hard to see. Maybe switch to images with a black dropshadow?

 

One small thing, you might want to mess around with your mouse over effects, everytime you mouseover, all the images reset and it looks wierd.

Other than that awesome site. Nice job.

 

Nice site but I would consider putting that bookmark link at top right like it has always been for most site. Not at left nav menu.

But, maybe you have to tweak it a bit since you do not want "bookmark" as the first word that a spider sees on your page

Also,I noticed that some article pages have half of the page containing nothing but white space. It does not look encouraging. Maybe you want to add some pictures or make the article longer.

And yes, valuable information available... great looking site over all. However, maybe it is a good idea to include some pages into your Mambo installation, for example:

legal.htm
references.htm
privacy.htm
sitemap.htm

At the moment I was testing, those were separate and a bit "ugly" pages and a little bit breaking down the very nice feeling in general.

thanks for the suggestions...we eventually want to start a forum but don't have the resources to manage it yet. Also, i think theres a lot of white space after the articles because of the adsense at the bottom left. I think i may test it out if i make it smaller so it doesn't make my page so big? But thanks again. If you have any more suggestions please tell me.

i fixed the menu bar colors and shortened the adsense on the bottom left so there isn't as much white space after all the content. Does it look better?

i'm still stumped about the rollovers causing it to reload...i use Mambo CMS, i posted in the mambo forum and one guy couldn't duplicate the problem so maybe its just on certain browsers...I use Internet Explorer

no, i'm using Mambo CMS and found a template i like and am using it. Had to make some changes of course to it
