I have been on DP for nearly three years now and know so many regular people here like they are my family.I bought some websites for $1960 plus 2 more sites which were over $200 each from a respected member on this forum .I was told the sites are original content , I was told they were never offered for selling links and they are clean websites. After one month of getting these websites they are banned in google.After some investigation I see that the content is not original ,I learn the sites have been used to sell links for a while here on dp and they also had their other websites banned for same reason. I was very good to this person and tried to work out an arrangement , I offered to accept 50% of my money and will give her back the sites and domains which are useless to me. All i get is excuses and being ignored ,then one month ago she offers me 25% back and some links on other site.So i reluctantly accepted that offer.She never made good on this offer ,is ignoring me yet she finds time to buy and sell on DP every day. So what should i do?Walk away and let her get away with this?Leave her negative feedback and warn others that her sites are crap as are her ethics? I have never experienced this in my life before now ,what would you do?
If the reason you bought the sites were because you were misled into believing that they were clean original content sites, you were clearly taken advantage of. I'd expose her to others especially if she's supposed to be highly respected here at DP. I bought my first site recently and will do it again. We need to know who not to do business with.
the best thing to do now is, to make those out going paid links as no-follow. Then add a bit of unique articles to those sites etc. After this, go to google webmaster central and ask for a re-instate request. Since you are the new owner and all those wrong things, like link selling is not done by you, so hopefully you can expect your sites to be taken back in google. Ask the seller to give a partial re-fund so that both parties can share the loss... After that, if the seller don't agree, try the paypal dispute, it hardly works though, but no harm in giving it a shot. anyways, cheers!
I've been scam by a friend but not a real money I've been scam in-game and I've been hack to, when I was scam by him I let it away because his my friend but one day all my items were gone and I reported it quickly to the admins of the game and when I find out that my friend hack me I just don't want to see him and everytime that we see each other its like that we don't know each other.
taht's so sad to hear. maybe you should reveal that person's identity just so she would not be able to victimize other members of DP, and other forums, anymore. maybe you should also report her to the officers of DP. i suppose there are no written contracts, documents, whatsoever, for your dealings with her so i guess there is no legal action that you can take against her. so i guess it's just down to revealing her identity to others who are buying sites from her and warn them. i really do hope you get your money back. be more careful next time, though. god bless you.
Sorry to hear about that. If I was scammed by a friend then I would demand payback and our friendship is probably over.
There are not too many respected female members out here who are active on the BST. IMO there are just a handful. You should probably leave her a negative Itrader. I'm not sure whether you could get your money back- depends on how you paid and the time that has passed, as you already might be knowing.
