    I started an adult image gallery which right now contains over 1500 images.. iam using avn ads.. two banners.. a header and a footer.. The site is only a month old and has got some facts and figures like;

    (awstat)

average 16 uniques a day and growing (yesterday got 30)

    266 pages browsed per day

    1500 hits per day

    100 pages listed in google

most of the visitors come from US

    (avn)

out of 5500 page views.. i hardly got 900 times banner showed up on the ad space..

 it really hurts... the ads were displaying good in the start but they dont showup very often..

I started with avn ads just because they were the most respected.. but i have heard that they are only good with sites having huge traffic

Iam seriously thinking about removing avn all together.. do you know any good ppc advertising that i could use for all my life and thats good in paying as well as new site friendly.. what would you do if you had a site like this? all the experience webmasters are welcomed to reply..

The issue isn't really with AVNads, with little traffic - no publishing of ad's will really work or make money.

AVN advertisers may be targetting their banners and ad's to countries that aren't popular on your site.

If you're using banners - I believe you will only be paid CPM / Per impression and the CPM display per cost may be pretty low as you have little traffic and advertisers aren't bidding on your sites or for your sites traffic.

I would start investing some cash into your site and start bringing in the traffic that way ie. buying some ad's, over a period of time (if your sites good enough) you will have about 20 - 30% of returning visitors and mixed with more advertising your traffic will pick up.

As you said though - the site is only one month old, so you need to pull in the traffic by yourself either with advertising or a lot of manual work like participating in forums, social communities and sites like bookmarking for adult sites.

Thanks for the helping reply bud.. :) so there arent any PPC or pay per impression programs what work for new sites.. Is it always necessary, in every pay per click or pay per impression program, for the advertisers to bid for a particular site ? Or do we have got some programs where advertisers pay for their ads to display and the ads are randomly displayed on all publishers, regardless of how much traffic they have

Most PPC and CPM networks will have a run of network ad's - these are the default ad's when you either don't have any ad's sold or you still have ad's spaces left, in my experience sometimes these pay more per click than when I actually sold an ad'.

You could try Adengage.com they're not bad, and you can sell your ad' spots there also, if you have no ad's (sold) they will run the run of network ad's - they usually pay around 1cent a click - not CPM however.

There's also a couple of others you could try, you'll just have to search the forums as there's a few around.
