    I'd probably go to bed earlier, get up earlier, get a little more exercise in during the day, spend a few extra hours with my family. Honestly, the internet isn't my sole source of income and I spend too much time on it without accomplishing anything useful. I suppose if I supported my internet habit by making more money online then I'd care.

    Once internet is down, I'll go for ham radio to keep long-distance talks, relying on local networks infrastructure too (20k users for a good LAN, 200k users for a traffic exchange), and if they would turn it all down, then I'll probably take an attempt to port RFC 1459 to a distributed network of smoke signals.

    they cant shut it down like this..
