What would you do if CTR quadrupled?

On one of my blogs, CTR recently jumped to a percentage I never thought possible. It's only been two days, but the number of clicks I'm seeing is staggering.

The only thing I changed on my blog was adding new posts. Now maybe it's just a freak accident, but maybe the posts had contnent that attracted interesting ads (again ad placement and ad color have not changed).

I don't really know why I'm writing about this, maybe I want to hear similar experiences and how other people handled the situation. Did you keep blogging on the same subjects for a while? Did doing that bore your readers? Did you assume it was a fluke and ignore it?

It depends of the value...For example:
    4x1 is 4, i wouldn't report it...But 4 x 20 i definitely would report that huge quadruple CTR...

I don't know if changes from 5% to 25% are common. I have several sites that do fairly well with Adsense and in the last year or two none have fluctuated like this one did recently.

Anyway, CTR is still 4-5 times higher than normal. I sent a request for Google to investigate and we'll see what happens.

I have a site that is sometimes at 3-5% and other days at 30%. It's not that big of a deal. As long as the clicks are legit google wont care.
