I've read a lot of advice about putting your ads above the fold but what is considered to be above the fold? Screen resolutions differ greatly so what would be considered the standard? Cheers, MB
Well it depends on what your audience is using for their screen resolution. I consider anything 600px from the top of your page to be above the fold but if you have a lot of users using 800x600 then above the fold is 400px.
The question was more specific - how many pixels would people consider to be above the fold? As I said, screen resolutions differ greatly. They change depending on the nature of your site. Techie sites, in my experience, have a greater number of people viewing at larger def (1600x1200, 1920x1200, etc.) so I was looking for a concensus of opinion.
