what would you consider a good kei to be?

    Hi to all!! i jus joined this awsome forum ...its by far the most informative when it comes to internet marketing.Iv been researching a few nitche keywords and im not realy sure what number makes a good kei. What are your views?

    100+ is usually ok but might require a bit of work to get to the top page.

    I prefer 400+ since I can usually get away with on-page optimization and a minimum of link building.

    Be careful what keywords you decide to target based on KEI only though. Sometimes your stats can be wrong and you might waste a lot of time optimizing for crap keywords/traffic.

    You're better off working for 6 months on a KILLER keyword than 1 week on a keyword that brings in 5 visits a month.

    Apart from chasing the KEI keywords (which may be fun), you'd rather write unique, valuable content for your visitors. This will get you what you want.

    Over 90,000 monthly searches alone just between 5 keyword
    phrases,

    An Average KEI of 20,279 (A good KEI is anything over 100)

    is this good?
