Tomorrow Im lucky enough to go to a presentation by Google on search. There will be questions at the end. What would you ask? The subjects cover -Search Crash Course -Building Brands with Search -Beyond Search - YouTube, gadgets, Earth... -Questions Thanks James
Sounds like a cool opportunity... I guess the question I would ask is - "how do you define page rank?" I still dont get it and there seems to be so many different opinions. I would just like one version of the truth from google. Is this out there?
I think I'd like to ask "what domains are given more weight or relevancy by google?" And also "what are the factors to be considered to rank well in Google?"
Hi Thanks for the questions both very good. With regard to the domain name one can you give me an example please so I can put it forward. I will try to ask both by the way. Thanks James
Hi Guys. Right as always appears to be the case with these things the session did not go the way it was supposed to. A lot of time was spent on the subjects above in my original post. When I was expecting the questions and answer session to start we where informed that the time was almost up and the team doing the presentation would have to leave as they had other meetings booked. Some of the team had already left to head of to these meetings. I had expected a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel when we where given business cards for one of the people giving the presentation / talk. I emailed yesterday and got the answer below. http://www.google.co.uk/webmasters/ Obviously this is not the answer that people would have wanted. But I did try to do what I could. Im unfortunately in a slight disadvantage as I dont work in a department thats anything to do with what the talk was about so Im not able to form a proper business relationship with the person whos business card I have. Sorry guys did the best I could JamesB
