What would the revenue from Adsense using Web Directory Websites?

    Is it possible to make some revenue from web directories websites? I am wondering to know that what would be the result if i use adsense in directories websites.

    Unless you have a very high volume of traffic you won't make anything.

    You need to be careful using adsense on a directory. If it is a well edited niche directory and as stoner says you get a lot of traffic you can make money. However, if you just put up a spammy general directory your adsense account will be at risk of being cancelled. I've read of several people who had their adsense account cancelled with an email from google stating that their web directory's business model wasn't in line with googles goals.

    I had adsense on the directory in my sig It took me a long time to get to £29 something, £30 was the payment trigger and they suddenly cancelled my account.
