What Would Search Engines Think of This?

    I was recently wondering - say you have a page that has loads and loads of backlinks but you noindex it? What with the search engines think of that. They obviously won't rank the page in their SERPs but will they still pass PR and will the domains still build TrustRank as a results - will the links even count as inbound links to the domain?

    Has anyone done any research into this or read anything on it?
