Devilhellz , i know you did provide your post with links .. but all those sources are a one very wrong translated " ayat " or chapters of the Quran Mohammad and the message of islam were the first at that time to free slaves and treat them just like any other person Mohammad (puh ) Said " لا Ùرق بين عربي ولا أعجمي ولا أبيض ولا أسود إلا بالتقوى " which is " There's no difference between an arab , a foreign , a white or a black person but only by faith ( or can also be good work ) " in english and encouraged to free any slaves and was totally against slavery by mentioning that who ever does that ( freeing slaves ) gets thwab and is forgiven for somes sins and mistakes he had done ! If you look at the hadiths you will find much violence in Islam. I think because the hadith is written mainly about Mohammed. Islam with only the Qur’an could be a religion of peace. If you add the hadiths, it looks pretty bad. I can see no way that hadiths could have been inspired by G-d. (at least not a good G-d anyway)...just my opinion.

I appreciate your admitting that it is possible for a hadith to be incorrect. I started learning more about Islam when the President of Iran declared dogs un-islamic. Some of his police force have mistreated dogs and put them in detention camps. Because I love animals so much, I was enraged. I found the hadiths where it says dogs are dirty, angels will not come into same room a dog is in, G-d will not hear your prayers if you have a pet dog, and kill all black dogs. I think this is evil! Mohammed liked cats, he did not like dogs. But G-d himself loves all animals including dogs if judged by Qur’an. They let that animal hating hadith get through, but it does not support what Qur’an says. Many Hadiths are also disrespectful to woman, and I do not believe Qur’an supports that either. Hadith makes me so angry, because it justifies injustice. That is just how I feel. Thanks

The problem is not withe dogs, we are encouraged to care for all animals, the authentic teachings actually just say you must re-do ablution for prayer if the Dog licks you or you touch its saliva. There is a hadith told by the prophet pbuh that a prostitute was sent to paradise because she saw a thirsty dog, that she felt really sorry for and used her shoe to get it water from a well.
