What would happen if some reffered to a page with a different referral link

Just out of curiosity, if an affiliate refers someone to a website for a product, which has its own referal link to another product, who gets the credit if a visitor goes through the final link and makes a purchase? Affiliate 1 or Affiliate 2?

Are you sure? Very few vendors do this. It's a common misconception that most vendors rip off their affiliates. In fact, it's the other way around.

If you are saying that the vendor is using their own hoplink then go ahead and name and shame them here. If they're just using a regular link (non-hoplink) then you will still get credit.

agree with rolf, most vendors are pretty good ...

but i always look carefully through a sales page before i start to promote ...
