Hi.... I am planing to startup a new webhosting company, but have to make research first, so wanted to ask following question to you: What could get You to switch to a new webhost? Thanks in advance..
24/7 help chat which seriously about "helping" the customer. 1 of the worst customer service is hotso and hostgator. They don't even support and say bad word to me a few times or some sentence like "I don't care, i don't know" I still have screen shot of the conversation
3 months of free hosting usually equates to a customer that stays with you for 3 months. Steer clear of deals like this. People switch for several reasons. The number one reason is they are unhappy. However, even if they are unhappy most people do not like change and will just stay put anyway. I'd simply focus on what services and products you can offer that will set you apart from a commodity based business that is already really overcrowded and competitive.
any reason......................like price..................bandwidth...........services.................space...........support..........email ..........database................any problem with the following
company stability is the only thing i worry about. Ive been ripped off by small companies offering hosting for nothing practically, never again.
You don;t need to get yourself into this. It is 14 hours working every day. The hosting business is profitable, but only for the best brands! The investment you need is huge, the market is saturated...
Take this how you like but you need to communicate in better English. That may sound harsh but I would not join a hosting company that could not write using decent grammar. Not saying my grammar is the best but I don't communicate with clients on a daily basis. Why would you swap your web host provider? Why do people change their hosting provider? To answer those questions I would say what has already been said Reliability, this covers uptime, speed and support. If you cant rely on the support its a no. If the speed fluctuates to much its a no. If the uptime is poor its a no. Price, although some people may change for price alone I would recommend against this. I moved from one company to another which was more than twice the money but offered ten times better support and service. If you are really starting one from scratch offer to host a few of your mates sites for free and get some feedback from them over a period of a few months. With some luck they may recomend your services to others. What country are you from? Maybe you could specialise within that country then language would not be such a barrier. Like I say take this how you like. Its constructive criticism as well as a valid reply to your question. Best of luck what ever you decide. James
-->Quality customer and technical support. -->99% up time. -->Cheap Rates. -->A free IP with hosting package.
I think once you need to move to new web hosting account (upgrade) you will be notified by your web hosting provider. But if you are pretty happy with the current service I think there is no need to move at all.
If my current hosting screwed up i would shift to a new host and offcourse price would play a major role too
