What would be your preferred Marketing strategies for 2015

Your marketing strategy should be centered around where your target audience is, rather than trying to cover as much ground (channels) as possible.

A few things are constant:

• SEO
• Content Marketing
• Email Marketing

 

Article Marketing still works
Social Media such as facebook and reddit bring in a lot of traffic
Backlinking of course

 

No doubt that writing articles (or content) works, but with all the changes in Penguin & Panda, marketers should only focus on one thing: Adding value to your target group

This is essentially what Google is trying to do as well: providing a good user experience

Throwing out tons of articles and creating multitude backlinks should be not seen as effective marketing methods anymore.

 

I agree. High quality content is the key to any type of success these days.

Thanks for responding! I think I'm not as eager as you. I recently hired an agency to do the SEO job for me. I just can't handle everything on my own... By the way, where did you get a mentor?

 

Article marketing works ut not as they used to work as before.
The Google algoritham keep changing and writing articles and marketing them is very difficult task. I believe instead of article marketing, one should focus on less time consuming and more convertible marketing strategies.

 

In 2015, more of interactive marketing will be important. For instance, you write a blog post, allow comments on it and interact with your blog readers. You can also post on the social networks and interact with the people who like or comment on your post.

 

I have never done video marketing before, but it's always something I've wanted to do, seeing as I hang out on YouTube watching Let's Plays and other geek videos all the time. Always wanted to do some of my own Let's Plays, but I risk being the morning boring guy on the net...

Anyway, I filmed my very first video ever for my new experimental website today. I look so bloated in the face! I'm working on losing weight and building muscle right now (I don't even know how I got out of shape in the first place), and seeing myself in my video today helped get me motivated again.

I look way different depending on the angle, and looking at me straight on shows how bad it is...

From the side, I don't look horrible:

It doesn't help that I can't get my hair to lay flat, either.

Oh well, sometimes trying new marketing tactics helps you realize that there are other things you have to look out for, too.

On that note, is YouTube considered social media? Comments and likes are important on there.

 

I always prefer social media. So I think that's the right way.
