    my experience: godaddy seemed pricey, but worked okay for me, virtualave had at least one downtime incident, I believe, but wasn't too bad

    hostgator is a great provider.

    I've had them for years and I've never had any complains with the service, great customer service as well, and they even give you a little slack on late payments ;)

    Make sure you do a Google search for coupon codes before you sign up. It'll make the hosting a little cheaper. :)
