What would be best to market on social networks (myspace, facebook, frienster..)?

I have a few sites that I market on myspace - A arcade site, resource site, etc.. Basically anything I can setup for cheap. But I'm not really making any good money with this. I can easily get like 2000 uniques/day but that just doesn't convert to good ad revenue. I know there’s a lot of money to be made but I’m having a hard time figuring out just what to market. Is there any particular product that anyone has had success selling on mySpace? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

ps. This my first post on dp :D

I know what you mean by getting to 2k/uniques easy and not making much $$$ as the payouts for such sites pay really poor.but the more traffic you get the more $$$ you make.

Myspace has been the place to be since last year, I have really only been making $$$ via myspace since may this year but I wish I started earlier

shobber: if you don't mind sharing, what kind of products/services are you marketing?

When you refer to marketing on MySpace, do you mean in terms of posting advertisements or simply putting links on your profile to your site? It seems like I saw something recently in their terms of service regarding ads but I could be wrong. If you know otherwise, let me know. I'd definitely be up for getting some marketing techniques going courtesy of the MySpace traffic.

Techniques I use include: Ads on profile (discreetly), and posting bulletins ("this site is cool" type of title). I'm experimenting with seeing what works best.

I have never had any success with Myspace, although I do get about 100 visitors from them a month.

Yeah, I would stick to MySpace, you can't really market to the Facebook crowd the same way you can do the MySpace people

I think I may have phrased my questing incorrectly. I was asking what would be the best way to profit from myspace marketing. I already know there is a ton of money to be made, I'm just having trouble capitalizing on it.

Time for my shameless self-plug, but for virtually nothing, you can get plenty of new visitors and exposure for your profile: A Million Profiles.com

What kind of products and/or services are you trying to market through MySpace Marifer?

You should provide some sort of survey or anything to make your visitors spend more time on your site. Statistically have shown that the longer people stay at your site the easier you will make some $ and get some sort of special offers from the niche industry.
