    You have a good budget so why not along with party, flowers, present her a gold necklace :) if you could add more money then go for diamond...girls best friend :D

    You have to do something really special...spending time with her in the most pleasant way for her...a holiday, a nice and fancy dinner or a spa treatment;) you know better what your mother wants:)

    My mom is turning 50 in August too and I like the suggestions but not sure if they would work for my mom. She's not much of a big shopper and don't really have much family out where I live for a big suprise party. The rest won't work in my case since I'm only 16 so I can't necessarily do much.

    I was thinking about just a dinner with my mom and older sister but thats common. We do that all the time. I'm thinking about asking my sister to take us on a 3-5 day trip to the Bahamas. Do you think she would like that?
