I want to ask the free web directory owners among us what works best in terms of monetization and management of their free web directory. Not random good stuff but things that have in reality worked for you. I personally know a lot of good advise, but not all of them work I see a lot of free web directories out there and do believe that some of them are doing much better than mine, so thought that I could learn a few tips. Well for the things that work for me. 1. Text link Ads affiliate placed in the submit form has worked well for me. 2. Having a Quick Review option with a nominal review fee ($2.99) does get me almost a hundred dollars 3. Promoting at different forums as ***FREE LINKS*** has worked well in terms of traffic and exposure. 4. I never cross link as this sure could trigger an alarm with Google And lastly is there anyone making good income out of adsense on directories as I am seriously considering putting them up on my free directories.
