What Wordpress Theme For Static And Normal Wp Pages?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to create a WordPress blog that has some static pages and some pages that can be updated for different sections e.g. New videos, new pictures... etc. How can I make the static page a homepage?

    I haven't used WordPress for a while so I'm just trying things out again, thanks.

    Create the page first, then go to Settings/Reading and select the static page option and select the page you just made (I think you can do it with a post as well).

    HI Carl,

    You can set your home page from Settings - > Reading

    That is wp-admin/options-reading.php

    Change 'Front page displays' option...
