    I'm using Win XP right now although I have 4 GB RAM only 3 GB RAM is used in Win XP... so m seriously thinking of switching to Windows 7 ... anyone want to share their Windows 7 experience so that it would help me choose

    Windows 7 is actually pretty fast and hardly uses any resources. What kind of background programs are you running for it to take up that much ram?

    Actually I meant in Windows XP only 3 GB of ram is recognized unless I use 64 bit version of it then it will recognize the 4GB ram ... thats the issue with Win XP :( ...

    I think I should switch to Win 7 now...

    guys i have switched to windows 7 and it's pretty good i love the features and it's much faster than XP and vista..you could give it a try and see for your self
