Fortunately, those of us using The SEO System were not affected by the latest Panda/Penguin update. There were three main causes. 1. Links using the same anchor text. 2. Links all from the same or "suspect" sites. Normally, these were purchased links. 3. Over on-page SEO. KEYWORD STUFFING. The way that the system works it would be impossible to have done any of these things!
Same here, I will continue my usual work on my websites, no paid SEO, just quality and quality all the time!
i would like to brab some bear and think of life before Google Penguin Update, how we were ruling??? And wait till everything gets clear...
You need more options in the poll, things for those who have benefited. Most of my clients sites have improved, not because of anything particular which I have done in the last month, but because I've done things right in the long term. How about options like: "watch traffic grow and think about taking a holiday" or "start running reports for clients just in case it is changed back again"
All my sites did get any slap by the update. Create high quality content and build white hat backlinks! Simon
Change my tactics, of course. More high-quality white hat links and social signals, less on-page SEO.
I am just going to wait for the dust to settle, Google is for ever changing I am sure people will find new ideas for SEO. Greg
I will try for all the strategies that can be done to increase the page rank but after the update thing settles a bit. Maybe after few weeks.
Please have a look on below points: 1) Avoid duplicate content. Content should be unique. 2) Avoid or Remove hidden text and link. 3) Avoid same anchor text. 4) Avoid submit link in same IP address directory. 5) Avoid Keyword Stuffing
I've avoided most of the typical SEO techniques from the beginning and focused on dripping content, natural link building, and varying anchor text in links. I've only had one site deindexed and that was because I hired someone for some link building that just fed my site into some sort of autolinking spam tool.
I'm not going to do any drastic things. Will continue to add good quality content. I never focused so much on linking building anyway...
