What will the PR increase be for the TOP 10?

    Hi, say I have a site that has zero PR. Its been around for 1 year. One day I decide to spend 1 or 2 thousand into directory submissions to the TOP 10 paid directories (Yahoo, Business.com, BOTW, JoeAnt...etc..). With all things being equal, such as my posting frequency, my backlink building frequency...etc..what impact will submitting to the TOP 10 have on my PR?

    Will it roughly be a PR 3 or PR 4...how can someone estimate what the PR might be?

    It will increase your pagerank but it depends on many features

    What do you need the pr for? If you are selling something, concentrate on getting visitors, the pr will follow.

    A question within a question, if I may. I've asked this before on other forums, but no one can seem to give me a real answer.

    What exactly is PR?
