Seems the notion Palin is already gunning for a 2012 bid isn't too far from the mark (can't believe this isn't laughed out of business before it begins - but then, I can believe it).

(The article also presents damage control quotes from others within the McCain camp. Uh, yep, ya betcha'. No troubles here...)

Gotta love that not only are some McCain staffers beginning to come forward with what seemed obvious (to me, anyway), but that they're admitting she was a dumbshit completely ill-equipped for the office, at the same time, would be hilarious, if it weren't so tragic. The bolded is hysterical - especially her own secretary having a panic attack because Palin was getting ready to, uh, talk.

That, and the fact "it was hardest to get her up to snuff, more than any candidate in history." GEE. Do you think, folks? Nice one, the Palin pick!

Haha I saw that clip. Tracey kept saying "thank you, thank you everyone" and trying to end it and get her outta there.

Funny coming from the campaign that likes to make fun of Biden for being gaffe prone. They won't even let their candidate speak!
Why was picking her a good idea again? Oh yeah to get Hillary voters because she's a woman.

    FAIL.

She could easily get one on another network.

But I think her rep will be damaged in Alaska when she gets part of the blame for losing.

I think both of the first 2 choices actually. I think the media attention has helped folks in Alaska learn a lot more about their "Hockey Mom" Governor. And obviously what they've learned hasn't been so good. I bet she loses re-election in Alaska.

If she tries for 2012 it will be a massive failure and would help to further destroy the GOP. So yes, I hope she goes for it.

Hmm... seems I agree with the voters in this poll. :D

Her political career won't actually be TRULY over until 2012 when she goes against Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republican field that actually knows what they're talking about.

When she loses the Republican nomination you can at that point stick a fork in her.

I'm fairy sure she'll do the responsibility's of the Vice President. Or she'll standby by for when Obama gets impeached. Luckily no ones dumb enough to actually elect him to office, so why worry? Vice Presidential duties then!

    *sigh*

    Where to start?

ksb2050 - Millions of of us are "dumb enough" to elect him to office, actually. I think you'll see that tomorrow.

Even if Obama were impeached as President (for whatever imagined crime you've created) the Vice President takes over (Joe Biden in this case) not some random woman from Alaska.
