Hello folks If i make this domain (Images.io) for global traffic and i reach first page on Google for that keyword(images) i will have milions visitors, right? And of course then i need dedicated server? Thanks
Well, the domain is a ccTLD for some small island I had never heard of and you will probably never rank #1 on the english search engines, ever. I bet you won't even get to rank #100. But if you against all ods rank #1 by spending huge amounts of money on SEO then ye, you will ger a fair amount of traffic.
I think ccTLD domains with main one word keyword like (games, images, news, etc.) can be always on first page for global traffic (not only for native visitors). Wulkanen as you can see this domain Galleria.io is on first page on Google #1,PR7 and monthlY searchES for this domain is 1,220,000 only in US,what is with global searches, 6 mil. Imagine then you have domain games.io and you make good SEO and you reach first page, guess what? you are rich man. I want to say that Google will rank better domain (example) games.io,then domain (example) gamestiki.com. Because games.io have already main keyword without two words, just one main .Then search engines first pick up one main word ,and is not important if you have ccTLD extension, the main thing is a one famous keyword, and in this case is a games. Cheers
"Galleria" = 128 000 000 search results. "Images" = 12 440 000 000 search results. Do you see what I'm talking about? It's 97 times harder to rank images.io than galleria.io if you base it on the amount of results.
Yes Wulkanen i understand what you say,but main word is hard to find ,never mind if is "Galleria" = 128 000 000 search results. "Images" = 12 440 000 000 search results. Somebody who will work on images.io can be on first page like galleria, and don''t look search results.I mean Images have more search results then galleria.io but if somebody have main word like images.io or any top keyword in one word can reach first page. And in that 12 440 000 000 nobody have main top word 'images' usually are imagesfree, freeimages, topimages etc.... You will be always in a front of others with just one main top keyword, with generic of course, and ccTLD extension too.
Well, Google doesn't take keyword domains in to count as much as they used to do. I'm not going to stop you from trying, but I think you're setting yourself up for dissapointment.
Very important point. However, doing anything, if you able to keep your one in the first page, you will get good amount of visitors.
