I find it amazing how far computers and the internet has come in the last 20 years. From them commadores with the squealing tape to load a game! and the very basic pages of the internet that took a week to load.... ...to now the laptop that now more powerfull than a whole companies system 20 years ago and internet pages that load in a heartbeat with amazing interactive technology. So where do you think computers and the internet are going to be in another 20 years ? Will you be interacting with a holagram ? Or will it all go bang when technology tops itself ? hmmm
In the future I'm going to have high speed wireless connection in my brain, and instead of typing responses, I'll just think what I want to say and the forum software will read my mind and type my response for me. I'll also be able to order snacks/drinks through the internet and have them uploaded to me.
They are going to be more interactive. The new microsoft tabeltop computer is a start. check it out, its worth the watch! http://youtube.com/watch?v=ttgx9ygMXz8
Oh, the same old doomsday theory. The US will build a computer so powerful, it'll develop AI. It'll get pissed with humans, and try to wipe them all out.
In 20 years...we'll have a computer chip implanted in our brain. That will be our computer. Just think and you can surf da internet, send E-mail, watch WackoTube, make wacko head transplants...all while counting sheep in bed!!!! Oh, and it'll take just a second to download a terabyte size movie.
I'd say 10 of my domains will be worth millions Also, maybe we will have microchips embedded in our brains or spinal cord, or somthing, so we can surf, watch TV, post on DP, etc from our bodies itself.... Edit: Omfg, me and wacko said the same thing!
twenty years ago we predicted hovering skateboards, self-drying jackets, self-lacing shoes, flying cars, dust free paper, nuclear powered cars. I haven't seen any of this stuff. All of our predictions are gonna be wrong. Sure things will be cooler, but not how we hoped they would be.
