How can we prove it? Is there any way to track it? I use Google Analytic to track visitor stats. (Sorry if this already asked. Please let me know the thread link.)
this is your responsibility. 1. you can block ads temporary for your web. Once Google's automated system detect continuous invalid clicks from same location, they will simply send you G.A.A.D email.
I agree with Ironclad, I had this happen to me once (I think someone didn't like a forum post I'd made and they thought they'd get click happy and ban me) but already being aware that as soon as it happens the thing to do is to write to Google straight away. I did this and I used "Suspect click fraud" in the email title, remarkably got a reply back within less than 24 hours. I think this can actually work against the person who does the malicious clicks as it occurs to me that Google will see the ip address of the person doing the malicious clicks and possibly cross check to see if they also have an adsense account which may result in them being banned. Not sure if the big G' does this but it wouldn't surprise me, my wife has a friend who works for their HR department and she tells me the security department runs into hundreds of people in UK/Europe alone. Hope this eases your worry - if in doubt email google straight away. Regards Dickie
Dickie, Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. My doubt cleared. Thanks for all the people who replied.
