If you've used a credit card to verify, I guess you'd remain verified. If you've not, then chances are that you might become unverified. Just guessing though, I'd let the more knowledgeable members chime in .. EDIT: kentuckyslone beat me to it
What happened to me was this - I moved and had closed down my bank account so I could open a new one where I had moved to. Something like two years passed and my PayPal account was still verified and everything was fine. However, I had an automatic payment that was attempted at a time when my balance was too low. I suppose that PayPal queried the bank account I had on file and that was when they discovered that it was no longer valid. I received an email telling me that my account was no longer verified. Naturally when I added my existing bank account I became verified again.
I understand that the OP is from Philippines where verification must be done through a credit card and not a bank account. As such, removing the bank account would not change your verification status, it just remove one of the means for you to withdraw money from your paypal account. However in the US, verification is done with a bank account and thus keeping an active bank account there is important.
yeah, you are still verified even if you remove your bank account i am from the philippines too. the verified status is done by credit card or debit card, not by bank account
ah icthat helps.thanks.coz i have a problem on my CC i guess coz my amount in paypal is rejecting my bank.and the amount just always came back to my PP acount for the 3rd time and PP charge me.so im planning to remove my card on paypal and add it again.hope it will work this time.do i still need to get the 4 digit or not??
Technically once a credit card has been used for the verification process, it cannot be reused again.
It is an addtional card which is issued to any family member like parents, children or spouse. It doesnt require to be applied as a new card. The original card holder has to request the bank to issue a addon card. It will be like a separate card but all transactions will be under the original card. I have used it for verifying/funding Paypal without any problems.
