They are reports that Google is making negotiations on buying the social networking site Twitter

If they happen to go through with their plans and intentions, what do you think will change on twitter?

Do you thing every thing will remain the same? Just a change of ownership?

They will change the terms of use to very strict ones, to find a way to ban people as they do by ad sense.

You will see adsense incorporated into twitter profiles. You would probably be asked to use your google account rather than a separate twitter account.

I think twitter will have less bugs and become more reliable. Don't get me wrong the twitter cofounders did a great thing, but really needed more money and help to run a website with millions of inputs a day.

Yeah we might see adsense in twitter i.e. monetize you tweets or something like that.Plus log-in will be the gmail user ID.

I don't much will change in respect to terms... on the second thought, spammers can get banned from flooding your twitter.

I don't think much will change, except maybe the style. I think you'll be able to search Twitter from the Google home page as well (and vice versa). I think it would combine the ideal strengths of both companies quite well.

The only change without a doubt will be adsense integration. Twitter receives millions of hits and Google will not be able to resist adding adsense to it.

No doubt about it. Google will monetize Twitter. That'll be interesting... Something to look forward to.

With Twitters' member count totalling in millions, it will be another huge source of money making machine for Google.

I think the first thing they will want to do is place adsense ads some how.

They may just want to buy it so they own every good thing on the internet.

Maybe Google would work with twitter to provide some sort of search tweet function to return search results without ever having to log into the net via your mobile phone...

    Or perhaps that's silly :)

Either way, they left YouTube pretty much the same except for the ad insertation, right?
