This is absolutely false. ALL of the major search engines respect and obey the robots.txt. If you fail to put up your robots.txt to disallow them and you get indexed, it can take days/maybe a week to get your URLs removed after submitting a URL removal request.

Some bad bots/crawlers ignore the robots.txt but Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, and all of the others that you think of when you think "search engine" do obey it. They do NOT "index first/remove later" if you have a disallow: / directive the first time they visit.

I am a web-designer. I use Joomla CMS. It is easy to learn and it has virtually any feature you can think of, including a forum for your website.
Yes it requires hosting, you should start with cheap hosting until your traffic picks up. And no, you are not required to book another domain to have a forum, it's actually quiet simple.

PM me if you want me to help you out and give you instructions.

At last I have earned some knowledge on how to put up a website. I will have to redo my present websites and will use the knowledge I learned from here. Thanks to all, especially to rohit_tripathi60 who started this thread.

If you get this far then you are ready to put your forum in. All forums run off a different type of code that you have never seen and probably will never want to see.

Once you have that all figured out, I would suggest building a few basic pages that will pertain to your theme and get you to rank in the search engines. You will also want to spend some time learning the basics of search engine optimization if you want to build your first site up right.

There is no guarantee that the disallow in the robots.txt will
be obeyed by a search engine.

There is no safe way to have information online, if someone
wants it bad enough, they will find a way to get it, more
    than likely.

YOu can install XAMPP ( LINK ) on your own computer ( Windows ) and learn to update the database of your Joomla site. Its not that hard after a few tries. Your site will be only in your computer and you can finish it there instead of online and not have to worry about any search engine exposing your site or your information to others.

You can install Wordpress also, but there is no guarantee that Wordpress
will be able to expand when you need it to. You can do just about anything
you want with Joomla NOW. You do not have
things like Community Builder or other comparable payment plugins for
    Wordpress.

If all you will ever want to use your site for is blogging and general
information, choose Wordpress. If you have big plans for your site,
    use Joomla.
