what & where to make changes in order to block visitors from a country .

hello,

have a social networking website with more then 1100 active members . Visitors from china are really annoying .They create too much spam blogs ,post in forums etc .what changes and where in files shall i make in order to block visitors from a specific country .


any help much appreciated .

What kinda OS are you using, what version and whether you're on a shared host or VPS or dedicated server?

There you can find .htaccess file to block various countries.
You may also find similar lists over the net.
We've blocked Vietnam that way, no issues so far after 1.5 years.

 

might want to try blockscript.com

 

You'll want to block the Chinese traffic via the .htaaccess file.
