Let's us talk about wedding gift that you have given to your friend during their wedding ceremony.

I myself used to give dinnerware set, silk cotton towels, comforter set and pillowcase.

So your turn to list down your wedding gifts.
Anyway i wrote something about wedding gift. click here

Well.. my friend's are too young to have weddings :p

But, if I were to get a wedding gifts for them, it would be something personalized (because I know everything useful like coffee makers, towels, appliances, etc, etc will be given to them from other people :p). Maybe a scrap book (nicely designed, not cheesy and cheap lol) of memories :D Probably get it professionally done if there are any professional scrap books out there lol

yes i agree with you. All the wedding preparation have spent a lot of money. If we give them money, it helps them actually. it is always a nice wedding present. We can give cash or travelers checks with a note suggesting what they might use it for. “I hope you will use this to enjoy a meal during your honeymoon” or “I wanted to contribute to your savings for a new home.”

I always give cash (not physical cash but rather a check) or gift cards. Too lazy to think of actual gifts.

I usually laser engrave a plaque - no one else has given the same gift as me at any wedding I have been to.

Funny thing, my wedding was the first I ever went to. Talk about being clueless...

:p but that's taking the easy way. If I only had a day to shop for a gift, I'd go with gift cards lol.

Most couples have selections at stores in area. I usually give something they have selected.

When a friend who had been married and had her own home married a man who owned his own home, home furnishing were not needed. I gave them symphony tickets.

hm money is a good choice, but it might not appropriate in certain situation.

If I were to give a wedding gift this what it would be. :D:D:D

It would be a card that says "In marriage this is 50/50 :D."

It would have a $20 bill with the girls name on it and $5 bill with boys name on it.

Preparing for wedding can be that stressful, the church, the reception, and the legal papers. Even if you have a wedding coordinator, stress is not that far away. I always give them a Spa resort package, to drive away stress. And they really appreciate it.
