I use HostGator, and I am very happy with it. I've also used 1&1, which I thought was OK. I've since cancelled my 1&1 account and moved all my domains to HostGator.
Downtownhost and A2hosting work very well for me. I used Bluehost for 2 years, way too much downtime. My personal experience with Bluehost is they are very unreliable.
site5.com is by far the best hosting service i have been with, and i have been with numerous over the years including bluehost.com hostgator.com godaddy.com. i really recommed site5.com, the prices are great.
I use Netfirms. I am pretty happy with them as I like their backend and their great deal which offers a large hosting package for a year and 2 free .com domains for 10 dollars.
currently using hostgator. happy with their service although their cpanel is old one. and i'm also using a year internet-webhosting. quite good speed in asia region
Yahoo Small Business Starter 10$ a month for http://www.aviationearth.com and 10$ a year plan for the domain only for http://www.farrhad.com Whats SBI?
Don't use SBI, I mean the program cost $300. I actually bought it, was extremely disappointed in the "secrets" they promised and asked for a refund. Also their website builder was horrible.
I use Eleven2 for shared hosting and have been happy with them so far. I used Dreamhost for a while and it was nothing but a nightmare. Slicehost is also really good, but a lot more advanced, good for larger sites or if you are a control freak.
i would say if i had to pick it would be hostgator but you cant have topsites or proxys so it depends what you are looking for
