micfo.com I have tried hostgator, asmallorange, 3ix and resellerzoom earlier. IMO, micfo.com is best amongst these.
Haha, yes I have an opinion. I have used them for almost one year, and I do not think that their support is good. Honestly I would not recommend them for shared accounts, especially if your site relies heavily on MySQL. I will be moving to a new host sometime this week. Probably I'll be migrating to liquidweb, but I was almost sold on oc3networks until I heard some complaints about them being a spam haven etc. Seriously, if you need heavy MySQL usage, I would not recommend GoDaddy, otherwise maybe they are ok at best. Good luck.
Obviously I like to believe my service is the best but just like any other service it's not best for everyone. I have several friends say they've never had any problems with hostgator or dreamhost for the most part and that's what I've read from reading forums here and on web hosting forums. A lot of people have trouble with godaddy it seems so probably not a good idea to make use of them. It just comes down to making a choice about a reputable company who's plans are to a degree reasonable or they simply have a lot of recommendations. Using a host that offers 5000tb and does it for $20/yr generally is not going to work out well.
So no complaints on Hostgator right? if not im going with them, although I hardly need all that space they offer..
I use 3ix.org for most of mine, they are really cheap and offer a great service, i have never had a problem with them, there web hosting is $1 a month
3ix.org all the way !They have a 1 dollar plan. I've been with their 4 $ a month plan for 3 months and not had ANY problems whatsoever ! ( No wonder i am promoting the site on my siggi )
