    Hi Guys

What web analytics programs and services do you use? Which are best and why?

I use Google Search Console, Statcounter and Google Analytics.

I find Google Search Console is best for getting your search query data and Statcounter best for giving a quick overview of traffic levels to a collection of sites.

    What do you use?

I recently migrated to posthog.com for analytics. It's an opensource analytics tool, you get one million events per month free, then you pay what you use.
For off-site analytics I use the free version of Similarweb (just getting into analytics), I hear though SEMrush and ahref is good.

Google Search Console is a gem for digging into search queries, while Statcounter gives a nice snapshot of traffic without too much fuss. There’s a sweet spot when you mix and match these tools for a fuller picture.
