It must have been some affiliated-oriented page. The one that springs to my mind is: Motorola-Cell-Phones.com. Somebody has actually registered the name when it dropped and is currently trying to sell it. Will be ironic if that somebody is a DP-member .. If you check it out in on Alexa you can actually still see my "design"..

Mine was called downhillscene.com, in 1996 about mountain biking. I let it die after about 2 years, but I wish I hadn't because it had one of the top positions on Yahoo back when Yahoo was just a directory!
My first site would have been when I was 14ish. It was hosted on some free hosting service (Angelweb?) with a cjb.net redirection. Entitled Empire of Games and Music, where I reviewed games and music. And over used animated gifs made with Fireworks and anfy java applets
THis is a cool thread...ahhhh, to reminisce. My first biz site was nine years ago. While I had a background in graphic design I'd never done web work before...it was definitely a stepping stone. I sold that in 2000 and started a personal site. It's no longer up but you can see some of it on Way Back When. Since then I've probably done several hundred sites between my client projects and my own. I think this is one of my favorites...it was simple, easy and fun.
Who are you talking to, latehorn? ME? I just mean that they are great sites, especially for the first ones!
