Sometimes an item that is in fact electronic though is categorized under something else and you can get a higher percentage. If there are multiple product listings on Amazon for the same item you might wanna look around and see if any are categorized under something else.
Good point.. and the reverse is also true. I have seem some products classed as electronics that are a bit dubious.. even the product I got the big commission for last month is a power generator, which I wouldn't class as electronic: http://www.amazon.com/Outback-OutBack-GVFX-3524/dp/B002MWFFPE Electronics to me is TVs, MP3 Players etc.
That's not a generator though .. it's a current inverter so it would be electronics since it converts between alternating current and direct current.
Where do you get traffic? Social sites?? Today is my first day on amazon affiliates and everything is at 0. Does it take a while to update the system? Because Ive posted a couple products on twitter and I have thousands of followers. also, if someone clicks on my link but isn't interested in the product and search for something else do I still get a percentage? I'm still learning all the ropes.. So sorry if I sound confusing. Would love some tips! Thanks!!
Yeh I know I am just joking, I don't really know what a current inverter would be used for! But it is a fair point that "electronics" isn't really defined - from a retail point of view, it is technology products like TVs but from a technical point of view it could be any product that uses electricity.
Your reports update every 24 hours. Yes if someone clicks your link and buys something else you get the percentage. Be patient and stick at it - it does take time, but is worth it.
