I sold a $2,000 watch. It was awesome. Couldn't replicate though, and the page gets some hits monthly.

You're capped at £7 with the UK program, so I've had that amount on numerous occasions. With the US program the two amounts which stand out to date have been $48.15 on a $1400 Plasma TV and $31.03 on a $1200 Recumbent Bike :)

I have made many hosting affiliate sales and got $50 per sale.
No more than this or no less than this.

How did you only make $43 on the sale of a $2000 watch? The minimal 4% commission on that should have been like $80. The shed I sold and made $43 was only $699.

This was one of my biggest at $3,780 (but I am not giving away the niche!). I wasn't on the best commission that month as well - normally I get to 8.25%

    20120910-qtmqt2agmsdnndqqruxu17g4t.jpg

This is a nice one from last month at $1, 639 (you can have this niche - it is a bit hit and miss because product availability is low), but is an electronic product so only 4%:

I promote amazon.co.uk a lot also but the £7 limit means it is about lots of £30 to £120-ish products instead of the big ticket items.

Excellent commissions and the fact that you don't have a cap with the US program makes it more appealing, however, I find the the majority of products within any niche are very difficult to reach page one on Google through the US program as opposed to the UK program, so there are swings and roundabouts with both. UK - £7 cap but less saturated | US - no cap but very difficult to compete for page one with big G :(

It's a shed made from plastic usually either vinyl or some other resin. They're used for storing tools and such outside usually.

I was way off. I did a search her it is:

    Nixon 42-20 Watch - Men's White, One Size Third Party $338.00 6.00% 1 $338.00 $20.28
    Nixon 51-30 Watch - Men's ( White ) Third Party $335.95 6.00% 1 $335.95 $20.16

Yes I balance them both - I live in the UK so it is easier to process the £ commissions from Amazon.co.uk but I usually earn more from Amazon.com overall. It isn't always about being page one for the big G! I get a lot of traffic and sales through people who share the content on my sites. Build great websites and you will be successful, it is that simple .

Electronics are capped at 4% no matter what you sell. I usually hit 8.25% on the scale so that would have been nice, but the entire niche of electronics has lower margins so I can understand Amazon doing that.
