What was your Marketing Startegy to get where you are today?

I always have wonders would craigslist be good to advertise on.

 

only prob is you cant market digital stuff on craigslist.

 

Thats ok, I am trying to promote ad space.. But my site is totally different from those other ad space site.. I have come up with a unique layout that guarantee your site will get hits.

Those are by far the most used strategies for me.

 

I think what people are saying is that the tactics you use are important yes...but you asked about the strategy. Strategy is something that you have to develop based upon you market, competition, and your unique points of differentiation in the market. The VERY important thing to note...based on the strategy a tactic used that’s successful at achieving objectives of one strategy may not be as effective for another. I work, I don’t stop (unless for quality family time of course!)
I keep researching my market; I keep looking for new and useful information.
If things don’t work the way I planned, I go back to the drawing board…In simple terms, I don’t quit.

 

Well to be honest, I've recently started, so I have not gotten overly far, but one of the main ways I have used to market my website is online forums. You get an ok amount of views, and you still get to learn a lot, plus you can make some money selling signatures ect... That being said, some time ago I left the warrior forum, a nice place, but after I heard some bad things about it.

 

Quality, Relevance and originality of my site's content taken me to the position like something BIG. I do believe in quality and originality of the content, efforts will go straight to the success.

 

Keeping an open mind and learning as much as I can. Treating my clients right and working towards long-term profits.

 

This is such an old thread that the answers to this right now would be incredibly if not completely different from before. I'm curious as to how people will answer this now.
