I am originally from New Buffalo so we were the "New Buffalo Bison" although for some reason they always said "bisons" which is weird because "bison" is already plural. At the other high school I went to, we were the "Marquette Blazers." The emblem was I guess some lightening, but I'm still not sure what a blazer is. My husband's high school was "The La Porte Slicers" which was a guy carrying an axe. In actuality, "slicer" is in reference to a meat slicer factory that used to be in his town. What was your highschool's mascot/team name.
As in his name was really "Bad?" or he just had a really bad name that you just don't want to mention.
That's actually scary in a way, if you think about it. I mean, it could instill fear in the locals (and other teams) that the Mountain Lions are gonna getcha. And not in the sportsmanship sense.
LMAO! You must live near me! I live really really close to the ghetto of the former steel mill area! Our mascot was the jailed pregnant teen:
OMG! We are rivals !! Ever since the Pregnant Preteen Criminals took the championship in the fall of '84, our schools have never been able to get along since.
LMAO! That's the funniest things I've heard in a long time! +rep for making me laugh! TGF Google Images
Nah, he just won over the other two ghetto mascots. His school was so poor, they couldn't even afford one.
